Fairly simple math to calculate how many shares it would take for Hamish Brown to be required to file a notice of change in substantial holding (1% = 20,769,958 shares). Easy enough to calculate how many shares any of the remaining Top 20 would need to purchase in order to hit the 5% to require them to file a becoming SSH notice. Of course a new SSH could come from outside of the Top 20, this would require them (assuming they held 1 less share than Chung Kan Chow) to buy an additional 90,089,809 shares.

Now, given that NTL is listed on both the NZX and ASX I am going to assume that "International" means a party, or parties, from outside of New Zealand and Australia. Maybe Singapore, perhaps China, who knows... either way this has me very intrigued.

Perhaps, although not "International" based on my what I've just said, even Newcrest are starting to ponder the benefits of acquiring a 20% JV partner that also has a a high-grade project of their own just down the road. I must note that this is purely speculation on my part.

I predicted yesterday that I expect us to go into a TH tomorrow, I still believe that this will be the case. I expect to see significant volume traded tomorrow in anticipation of the Talisman and Bonanza resource results/upgrades.
