Went short at the start of the week.
FMG has done a commendable job on cost outs, and possibly has made sustainable gains on mine planning, but the world is awash in iron ore and production costs are simply too far away (lower) than current prices.
Iron ore prices are coming off, it's just a question of when, and debt and lower grade will always see FMG hit hardest.
