One thing of interest that James Spenceley said.
That a bid by Vodafone may generate better returns than a Private Equity transaction and that a Vodafone bid was likely to receive ACCC approval.
However Vodafone in Australia is a JV between Vodafone PLC and Hutchison (HK) and not sure if there is an appetite to commit a multi $billion bid for Australian assets.
