If things are not going well in one of their investments there is not a lot they can do. They can't sell cos there would be no buyer. All they can do really is not to chase good money after bad, and write down their investment which they did in the case of ipro. It's also no good publicising that an investment might go bad as it would only ensure that it would. I imagine the programmers would have been telling the board they could fix the problem until it was obvious they couldn't.
So I don't give BTI a kickin' on this one, however if there is more of the same I'll get my boots on.
