@nsw004, No you can not say that - rarely is the pathway to an exploration discovery clear cut and smooth sailing. Even if you do your research carefully and well you will still have setbacks - not all of which will be duds.
I guess you have fireants up your pants giving you problems, and everybody has their own set of issues, but your assessment here is weak IMO.
There is still plenty of opportunity for a gold strike from the current drilling program. The prognosis for Salobo I is excellent - with news from first pass sampling before year end. And though you cynically suggest doom and gloom for the Salobo II application, the company appears quite upbeat.
If you have a nice broad portfolio (even if all in spec exploration) and you followed other HC posters who know their stuff and followed up the leads diligently this setback here should be no more than a minor annoyance to be overcome by taking up the rights and holding until good news comes. IMO DYOR.
