    It might help your trading to use a slightly different approach.
    It does seem to me that you have been hopefully waiting for a repeat of 1930, 87, fall off a cliff selloffs.

    While these major selloff events are always possible in any market, it is almost always better to trade the market as it currently is today, rather than what you wish it was from comparison to some random event in the past.

    The bull market of the last few years has been a bonanza for most. I almost (but not quite) feel the pain the tone of your posts show at having missed out on it due to your mistaken preconceptions about how a market performs, and from having your head fixed and focussed on the past forever hoping for the same event to occur again.

    Good luck, I hope things pick up and you are able to get a different perspective on the market.
