Answer me this then. If SQM have spent millions on technical due diligence as you claim and are confident in all the aspects of their arrangement with KDR why wouldn't they advance the full amount of the loan sooner so that the feasibility studies can proceed faster and hence the project can be completed sooner? Wouldn't it be in SQM's interests to move EG to production as quickly as possible? Even if approvals weren't ultimately received subject to the other conditions precedents they would still have the right to convert the loan to KDR shares, which according to most here are going to be valuable whatever the case.
