GDN action friday after lunch was somewhat similar when it broke from their 3 cent range and ran to 5.2 in a couple of days.

The overnight gold action in the US appears to be a liquidation of funds management positions on the comex. The indication comes simply from the fact that gold was still strong after the US employment numbers had come out. Gold traded around the 382 to 384 level for most of the day in US time. Once the london fix had been put in and london dealers had more or less left the market place the funds boys decided to shake the tree. Gold in pacific and asian time frames all week had been strong and on each and every day gold traded higher than the US close.

Their is very strong demand for gold in Japan and China.
The chinnese have bucket loads of US dollars to dispense of and their is only one place that money will be going. GOLD.

GDN is well placed as a junior speculative stock. Their share register is structured in a manner that will allow it to raise capital in the future when needed. 119 million shares on issue with the top 20 holding 54% approx means the stock is tightly held and those holders wont give the stock away for nicks.

GDN have 2mil cash and is ample money for them to continue to drill and prove up the resource at leonora. The beauty of Leonora is that it is within close proximity to Sons of Gwalia's mine and processing plant at leonora. So once they prove and define a resource a processing plant would not be required for them to start as ore could be cheaply transported to SGW plant.

Their is not only the leonora project but the Gambier Lass project. It is this project that may just catapult GDN to new heights in the coming weeks. The last lot of results were of excellent grade at very shallow depths. Over the past few weeks and coming weeks GDN have gone back and redrilled some of this area. In the last announcement they stated that other parties had apporached them to JV this area further as to accellerate the project.

Its not everyday large mining houses come knocking on Juniors doors offering baskets of goodies. So this in itself is a vote of confidence in both management and the initial results they have recieved.

Monday will be monday and tuesday will be tuesaday but i believe in 1 weeks time GDN wont be sub 5, and within 6 months GDN will be more than 10.

In regards to golds price for next week gold will be higher than where it is now. Their aint nothing like a shakeout to rid the market place of weak hands. The comex commitment of trades(COT) will be an interesting read. Just to see how many speculative positions were washed out. Gold has a tendency to always run up then retreat to its 200 day moving average before spiking again. Gold will be $400 plus before xmas.
