I disagree - the point he was making, I believe, is that if the illness is serious enough, most people (myself included) would not rely solely on a phone app to give me a definitive diagnosis - and for that matter I don't believe doctors will either. The app may be used in conjunction with other tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.), but I just cant see a definitive diagnosis given by doctors using solely the ResApp app like most on here claim will happen.
Also the believe on here that ResApp will render the stethoscope obsolete I think is absolute rubbish. For one the stethoscope is used to listen to many other parts of the body besides the lungs, therefore a doctor will still be carrying a stethoscope.
