Responsible clinicians shoudn't play the odds and say "you're too young to have cancer" or "Resapp says it isn't serious so I won't bother to check further". While 99 times out of 100 it would be true that there isn't anything, for the unlucky patient the risks are very personal. If you read through the scientific publications, there seems to be considerable variation in the cited accuracy, and short on details about how these figures were arrived at. In the third world where resources are scarce it might be helpful. In a well resourced society, its less useful.
