    dave -

last summer in Melbourne I thought we'd never be cool again - it was sooooo hot!
now we have our coldest winter here in almost 10 years - (after a series of very mild ones) -
and lots of rain - plus snow almost in the suburbs.
Heaps of snow in places close to Melbourne - where they haven't seen meaningful snow for years.

It is very cosy in winter once you're indoors though.
Nothing like a big open fire.

Maybe people in the "old" days were a lot happier - taking the weather as it comes and not worrying about global warming/cooling or being bombarded with constant news as to what the temperature/forecast is all the time. We seem to be obsessed with it - or at least the media thinks so with their constant weather reports. Perhaps we are all far too bombarded with info of all sorts.

As for global warming - they would have said - "Global what??"

It shouldn't be held over all our heads like the Sword of Damocles. "We are all going to fry!" Well, I, for one, don't agree.

One day at a time. And enjoy life - whatever it dishes up to you. Hopefully, good.
