Yahweh is a Holy God that is his nature.
When there is divergence away from God then evil is the byproduct

Evil in itself is not good but the fact that it exists it has been allowed to occur, there is a reason for it.
Evil in an atheistic material only universe just happens; no rhyme or reason, just occurs, neither right or wrong.

Having a sovereign Creator the reality of evil does not undermine the decree of God since it has purpose it is good in that sense that it has appeared. Ultimately evil has a day of reckoning and that will occur at the time of the judgement and the second death. No grave will be a sanctuary for those who rebel against the will of the Lord.

Habakkuk was a prophet in the Old Testament he lamented and complained to God about the iniquity that surrounded him. It is a short book only several chapters worth a read, it describes the raising up of a fierce and brutal nation that will dispense judgement yet they themselves who derive their justification by their own power and guilty nature, will in turn be judged.
