I follow this one with interest , I lost money a few years ago when BRL was looking good but it didn't get off the ground ,25c at the time , I regained some when buying at 1.5c and 2.4c and selling at 6.5c so where will this all end . The last time I looked coking coal was around $150 US and I remember the production cost was around $100 US so that's ok . I do question those who predict 40/50c when comparing coal miners valuations back then with those of todays , original BRL's value without solid energy is almost nil but combined its ok so what's it worth . From memory statements made by solid energy directors at the time of the collapse were , investments spread to far and wide and the quality coal was getting harder to mine ,in to deep and the costs were excessive (coal sank to $80) . I think I am correct in saying BRL could finish up with around 2 billion shares on offer so doing comparisons , WHC was around $13 ??at the peak , today around $3/3.2 , and check SMR today 38C another revived miner who was sold for $1 (with commitments) and is now in full production and doing well .
When looking around other company's , shares on offer and the coal price , 10/15c is my pick , let's see what happens , be warned , I've been very wrong in the past and am not trying to upset anything or anyone , good luck with your investment decisions , I would love to see this do well .
