Resapp's request to the ASX is open-ended:
"The Company requests that the voluntary suspension end on the date the anticipated announcement referred to above is released to the market"

There is more to that sentence, but it just serves to give an expected time-line. There is no specific end date so the company doesn't have to request an extension.

However if the actual delivery date of the announcement is far from the expected date I would expect Resapp to make a further announcement in the form of a request for an extension. And if they did I would expect the ASX to start asking questions.
