    Tonio, the Scripture in Exodus is referring to the Father, not the Son.
    Jesus taught his disciples to direct their prayers to the Father, not to himself.

    Hi MrGordon,

    Sorry , this is the God that Moses speaks face to face with, as a friend.
    Who says that he was known as El Shaddai to Abraham

    The Son did not 'grasp at equality with God' according to the Phil 2:6 reference you quoted.
    (Philippians 2:9) For this very reason, God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name,

    He was granted immortality, "a superior position" because of his obedience to his Father.

    MrG, Phil 2:6 is at the conception of Jesus. He was the Word made flesh. The Word that was God, The Son of God, emptied himself and became man. Phil 2:9 is after the resurrection

    Phil 2:6-7
    6 who, existing in God’s form, counted not the being on an equality
    with God aught to be grasped at, 7 but emptied himself, taking a
    bondman’s form, being made in likeness of men;

    MrGordon, The Word was God and always had immortality with the Father
    Jesus was exalted because of what he did

    Phil 2:8-9
    8 and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient unto
    death, yea, death of the cross. 9 Wherefore also :God highly exalted
    him, and endowed him with the name :above every name;

    MrGordon ,He was exalted not with immortality which the Son of God always had, but with the name above all names,
    ALL
    and EVERY name MrGordon

    Phil 2:10-11
    10 that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven
    and on earth and under
    the earth, 11 and that every tongue should
    confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to God the Father’s glory.
