all my reading on US generic price deflation is that the bigger impact came through in the Jun'17 quarter and is continuing into Sep'17 quarter.
The US FDA Commissioner Scott Gotlieb is continuing to apply massive pressure to get drug prices down through quicker FDA approvals for generics.
In addition there are a number of large buying groups and wholesalers engaged in a war suppliers like Mayne Pharma.
Therefore Bug1 is on the money.
It will take some time for the dust to settle.
And company ever wins in a price war. No company!!
