Expected sales of Quark boards due to end December 2017, guess we will just wait and see what happens. But not all bad news, Quark was attempting to take on ARM, STM do ARM might have seen it mentioned in the past. Also Telink are working on an ARM cortex M4 TLSR8xxxx.
JCT solutions, especially the new video capabilities - my guess would be having to compile GPU accelerated software for ARM.( Those guys must be working overtime ???)
PS Intel’s IoT hopes seem more dependent on data analytics and selling boxes to cloud providers. That would mean a complete back end solution.
