I struggle to believe that during the trial, no audits of protocol compliance were carried out, and if they were, that they didn't stumble across anything concerning.
If this were my little puppy, id have staff on at every hospital ensuring that protocols are being followed and that there is nothing that could corrupt the data taking place.
The silver lining should be that now they are forced to build in more robust filters to ensure a more stable product.
