Do people actually believe grid battery storage will be big in the future?
I used to make electricity for a living and the way I see things panning out are blackouts across vic/sa this summer due to lack of base load and intermittent renewable combined this with people suffering ever increasing electricity bills there will be a shift in thinking back to coal, errrr clean coal.
I think we are just in a renewable's "bubble" that is heavily subsidised and sooner or later when the lights go out people will be screaming for anything to get the lights back on.
Also I think most people lack an understanding of how the grid actually works and how much electricity demand there is compared to how much can be stored/generated by renewable's.
Cheers
