    possibly

but, my bet is if he heard it he would be laughing his guts out

Most of the good people who finish with life and give us so much joy - which he most certainly did --

if there is life after death - then, my bet is they sure don't lose their sense of humour.

Last night I went and listened to the original Wichita Linesman - which is amazing - but, not personally my favorite.

He had just so many memorable hits and a wonderful voice - I can't say I have ever heard anything like Galveston or Rhinestone Cowboy etc.

Music has strong memories for people - at different times in their life - for me - all the memories around his music are wonderful -- and, if he died a Nine stone cowboy and gets a laugh of it of ---------- well, that will do me.

People of his ilk and era aren't easily offended and laugh easily.

If you want a bit of a look into his personality - read the history of the song Wichita Linesman where the writer didn't know if they recorded it or not and see the conversation with Campbell when he found out that they cut it -

    it's just good history
