starter motor - that's exactly what I thought with mine, so got it to a garage who refurbished the starter motor ($266)
The car then sat in the full sun for some hours 'til I picked it up.
Started without trouble and drove it home.
Next morning, car was cold. Went to start it and same thing happened.
Got the RACQ out.
