If I might post a few observations that are contrary to the GPP back slapping;

To be transparent, I think this is a good appointment for the company, it will hopefully give GPP some momentum which it is desperately in need of, but IMO it demonstrates just how far behind they actually are. Why wasn't this appointment made months ago? This is too reactive for me and further confirms my belief in management's incompetency.

I still am LT holder and will be looking to top up my holding as soon as I have the available funds as I believe in OHD product, so please don't get me wrong. I am frustrated by these announcements and think it only shows how far away the commercialisation plan is from being completed.


"PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERT APPOINTED TO LEAD OHD COMMERCIALISATION"

They state "appointed to lead" (the usual oversell in the title we have observed from GPP management), but then lead on to say;

"has engaged David Trench as a consultant to its OHD project."
"David will initially advise in all aspects of GPP’s intended businesses"
"Those aspects that David will supervise include"

Which is it?
Will he be leading and driving this process or is he just a consultant there to offer advice?
Consult, Advise, Supervise is NOT compelling vocabulary nor is it synonymous with the term "appointed to lead"

"GPP and David envisage in the fullness of time he will move into full-time engagement in a chief operating officer role,"

It's good to see no commitment to a timeline here, they won't be able to under deliver at least! But my cynicism aside, the movement info full-time engagement is the most important thing to note here. This confirms my abvoe statements that David will not be leading nor driving the commercialisation plan IMO, he is being called on as a consultant to assist them manage the process because they are lcking the required skillset to do so.

This is a highly reactive appointment of a project management consultant to grip their stuff up as management has finally conceded that it has been poorly managing the process to date. If this wasn't the case, david would have been many months ago.

ALL IMO - I am keen to hear some constructive counter views to everything I have said above.
