Its been awhile, hope everything is well.....
A few things of late that you refer to, one being the size of the pilot plant that is in the drawing phase or whatever phase GPP say it is in from where they were currently sitting in 2014 in regards to design studies etc.

@Davy Boy now has an inclination to be agreeing with you, could you direct me to the announcement/s that would indicate they are going to be building a bigger pilot plant because I have only been able to find references to a 20t per day plant but there again I apparently can't read announcements well, but I have found these announcements dating back as far as the start of 2015 that mention a 20t per day plot plant....

So, unless you have another source of information that the rest of the market doesn't know about then I can only deduct that it will be a 20t pilot plant, happy to be proven incorrect though......
I also tend to think it is a tad hypocritical when you request other posters to reveal possible sources of information when you are quite reluctant to do yourself when asked. As
@natandsal indicated and it is now apparent with your post, and proven, that anyone with opposing views to the little back slapping face book club are almost gang attacked into being silent.
Interesting also that you mention OHD being disruptive and an unproven technology that is being trialled, this may take quite some extended period of time as in GPP's Gerard Kings own words,
Not only cost prohibited but also time consuming, and if we are waiting on completed trials to for the finalisation of a Commercial Plan then we could be waiting awhile.....

As for the appointment of David Trench, I personally couldn't see the need to rush because GPP have already sourced feedstocks, water, premises haven't they,
with a final decision to be made shortly...... or did these decisions get thrown on the scrape heap as a possible longer delay in testing is envisaged? (see above)

There will also be the dilemma of funding surely, as this is "unproven" technology, but funding is absolutely necessary to progress this to a "Pilot Plant" for proof of concept and a large scale plant....

My thoughts on funding would be, a possible placement, rights issue or a plain jane CR but these can't be done until the new year kicks in with restrictions still in place, as in an exhausted listing set of rules 7.1 and 7.1a. Regardless of what we may think we have in the kitty, cash burn will be increased as we have already committed $500k to Morabisi (phase II) employed another consultant for $?? meaning that the SOP project may/will be pushed to the far back burner...
