    Generally happens when an unpopular poster has his/her say, most of what is said goes either unnoticed or just ignored, MEH.....
    @Davy Boy
    The Trench announcement may not have mentioned the wording "Pilot Plant" but it is stipulated in the GPP/Thermaquatica Licence agreement, that the company can only make use of the process if it can build a Pilot Plant, re: second paragraph...........

    As per your point one: I agree, hence why I suggested that it was probably too early to engage in a consultant at this point in time considering that what his role has been defined as and I quote from the announcement
    "Those aspects that David will supervise include the sourcing of the feedstocks - coal, water and oxygen" whereas in the company's own "Corporate Update" released to the market on the 27th May 2017, suggested this was already in advanced discussion with a final decision to be made shortly, re: 2nd tick point.......

    So really, until this OHD is a proven technology, and there are plans afoot to build a commercial plant then why have we got a consultant now?

    And I mean seriously, GPP management and their ambiguous statements, what does "in the fulness of time" actually mean? One such explanation could be cleaned from @nondiscrypt 's post 26442915 (thanks strings) or we can get other meanings from http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/in the fullness of time
    In saying all that, I am not saying that he won't be good fit for this project but would be more suited when GPP finally move from Pilot Plant demonstration to a commercial plant but has anyone actually dug into why he was stood down from Griffin Coal?

    As for your second point: I did highlight this in a post quite some time ago, but my thoughts were that stage 2 and 3 would come later, re post: 26290767

    Third point: Lure him here or he gets a job here considering he was currently not employed other than his consulting business.

    @apkjm
    The actual point I was making as there is a fair bit going on with GPP and there will be an increase in cash burn, as they have been trying to get funding/financing/projects JV partners for some time, (as per there announcements) there will be a need to raise funds eventually, either by RI, CR or a placement but as I said this can't progress as the ability to issue shares under listing rules 7.1 and 7.1a have almost been exhausted, but they get reset around AGM time.
    Also bear in mind that there will be more share dilution in that process.
    Government funding may be of assistance and there is that many government department that this could fall under, so I am not even going to try and hazard a guess as to which one would be best fit.

    cheers
