I can't understand why people put large %s of their portfolio in only one or two stocks. Most textbooks only recommend 2%. However, I think thats a bit impractical, so I usually aim for up to approximately 10% in one stock, and typically hold 15 to 20 stocks at one time. At present I have 8% in ARU, bought in at 43.5 cents in May 2006, have sold my NUP.
