Hi Thadius, like the rest and in all honesty, I am only guessing. I was a writer in another life so I tend toward embellishment! I have always been led to believe by some of my gold crazy WA Inc bullpit contacts that there are some very serious and big players circling and talking to CQT- the interest is far from inert! The history thus far of placing the company into trading halts after the close of business seems to focus on allowing the market time to digest the material that has been released to the market. I align to some degree with those that decry the T/O theory as being negative to long term shareholder value but I do think, given Goldfields overt strategy of wanting to acquire more ground with substantial potential to increase its "dwindling" reserves, that a further equity issue to shore up its long term strategy could be on the cards. Of course, I am not sure if this is the guts of the announcement but it would not surprise. If it is, hold on to your CQT hat because the ace of hearts would have been played for all to see?
Whatever the news, it will be good. CQT is a most exciting new discovery that imo will not stay in the hands of its present owners for too much longer and I suspect this may have the "in principle" blessings of JT and Co.
ciao
