My personal circumstance pal.
Im a teacher 26 who earns stuff all. I got no debts, and living in London. I told myself before i left to go to London i'd whack my savings in 1 stock and see what eventuates in 2 years.
That stock was SMM bought at 20 cents and ending up selling at average 76. Put the lot in ARU at 27 cents and said i'd run this one all the way. Thats because i watched SMM go bang to $3 whilst ARU as still under 50 cents.
I know the books say spread your portfolio, dont do all eggs in 1 basket type thing. But whilst young im going to take the risk and see if i can run 1 stock all the way.
Im now started to s.hit myself but i look at it in opposite view in that if i got a winning hand then invest (bet) the lot.
We all got stories of the one we sold way too early... i aint doing it with ARU.
Just recently bought some MLSOA at 5 cents but ARU is too good to bother looking into more stocks.
Maybe when im 40 i'll spread my portfolio, but for now lets gamble!!
