I recall Tony saying, "by end of August", but I don't think any definite date. I also recall him saying he "expects" the update by the end of August, so don't be too surprised if it takes until after the end of next week. Or even the week after.

I believe they are making the following changes to the algorithm:
1) Exclude 30Hz machine hum.
2) Analyse last five coughs, not first five, to exclude "coaching" by nurses or parents.

I believe they were also going to exclude recordings where the background noise level was too high, then analyse the remaining sounds with the "hardened" algorithm. They will then release indicative results of what they would have got with only good-enough coughs and a hardened algorithm. Confidence levels will be lower because there will be fewer patients.
