I had to go to the GP for a pre-employment medical yesterday, and asked her if she would use this app on her patients. She flat out said NO, she wouldn't trust using an app over traditional methods. She said it could potentially have use complementing them, but she would still get all the usual tests run, and that diagnosing respiratory conditions is very complex. If it wont actually replace existing technology, and doctors are not keen on the idea, how exactly will it make money?

This is obviously only the opinion of one GP but it begs the question

Quite some time ago, after a very pleasant dinner with a few respiratory physician (amongst others) mates, I passed on their thoughts on the app.
All quite negative: gimmick, why? etc
I was roundly criticized. I'm not going over it again, but your GP story brought it back to life.
