Maybe they are in fact part of the reason for the delay......

I don't want to stick up for the directors as their actions over the last year or so, since taking over in fact, have been, well lets play with a straight bat and just say, "unconvincing......"

However, i would suggest everyone reread pages 10 & 11 of the recent 31st July Quarterly. It would appear that ASX, in particular, were not responding to CMY's questions so this lack of response may be a key reason for the delay. I could imagine a hypothetical situation where the Cmy directors basically say to themselves (in their haste to get a deal over the line and out into the market), "Stuff it - if ASX won't give us a determination, lets just go ahead and announce and see what they do...."

Maybe they have forced the ASX's hand and negotiations are now underway. It appears clear to me that a declared (minnow) Mining/Exploration company with a subsidiary in MC does not sit well with the boffins at ASX.

The next announcement, when ever it comes out, could be interesting on quite a few fronts....
