What would drive the economy would be lifting wages for foreign workers, not replacing them with robots.
The way they look at it is the faster they can build these houses the faster they can boot out the foreigners.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are secretly developing their own technology and just want to use Fastbrick as a test dummy and steal some of the IP. The Saudis are sneaky and are always looking at ways to beat the West. That's just how it works in this world.
