    Exactly. Completely agree. NBN will be used by almost no one when 5G comes out. Likely available 2020-21. Mobile and much MUCH faster than NBN by 50- 100 fold. Cheaper too.

    "Verizon and Ericsson recently decided to test the 5G network on a moving target — a car being driven around a racetrack — and were able to record a 6.4gb/s connection.
    To put this into perspective, the NBN is capable or delivering speeds up to 100mb/s, which means the 5G network is more than 60 times faster"

    NBM will be completely abandoned within months after 5G penetrates the city (and the larger country towns), Telstra know this (they aren't letting on though!), so they are actually happy to get some return on the useless copper network from the NBN payments while it lasts. You read it here first.
