IMO opinion, the last couple of years feels like a scam to me. IMO, the stock was pumped. I agree with you that the company rhetoric back then now seems ridiculous. Someone mentioned ASIC which is probably a good idea. We all remember when management approved heaps of free performance shares for themselves with strike prices of around $1.25 from memory. This was a couple AGM's ago I think and share price was perhaps in the 80's so any effort to get the price up to that level seems logical. I am not convinced the market has been given the full honest story as to why the previous CEO suddenly 'retired'. Is retired even the right word? Originally I thought it was but now I have my doubts. IMO, the trust in this company is long gone and IMO, deservedly so. When I asked the company recently to provide me with a top 40 shareholder list which I was happy to pay the required fee for, they basically refused to do so. They did provide me with a top 20 list free of charge but said they were not obligated to do so. Not many people talking $5 and takeovers anymore! There were people on HC saying NC valuation was $10. I recall a recent video or radio interview NC did where he said if he had $1 for every 'approach' (presumably takeover/merger approaches) the company has received thus far, he'd be sitting pretty. Yeah right. That's what I mean when I say 'pumped'.
