Hmmm, have you seen the Telstra "Nighthawk".
https://www.telstra.com.au/broadband/mobile-broadband/nighthawk-m1
Available now, I admit still expensive at $70 for 20 GB. Note however "unlimited" data from over 1,000,000 hotspots in Australia.
"With typical speeds of 5-300Mbps in 4GX coverage areas, the Nighthawk® M1 brings us one step closer to 5G and paves the way for a new breed of mobile apps and experiences."
With every newspaper filled with people's poor experiences on NBM, and speeds to maximum of up to 100 megabits per second (most people not getting anywhere near that), NBN is already old. The 5 G antennae are fairly cheap and prices will fall fast.
People move very fast to new technology, 5G will be like the advent of flat screen TV, or smartphones, movement will be very fast and new connections will be instant. Cable will be as outdated as walkmans in 5 years. Demand for fast data will become insatiable.
Then will start to have "New realities:
5G will push augmented reality and virtual reality into the mainstream. Augmented reality overlays information like walking directions, product prices or acquaintances' names over our view of the real world by, for example, projecting data onto a car windshield. Virtual reality creates an entirely artificial view. Both need to pull in new data almost instantly.
Instant gratification: Download speeds should increase from today's 4G peak of 150 megabits per second to at least 10 gigabits per second. That's fast enough to download "Guardians of the Galaxy" in 4 seconds instead of 6 minutes.
Lightning-fast response: In addition to cramming more bits into every second, 5G will shorten the lag time before the first bits show up. Waiting a few seconds for a streaming video to start over 4G is no big deal, but that's unacceptably slow for things like self-driving cars, where every millisecond counts. 4G ideally needs 15 to 25 milliseconds for one car to tell another behind it that it's begun emergency braking. That delay will drop to 1 millisecond with 5G".
You'll have tags on your dogs talking to devices in your home," says Femi Adeyemi, lead mobile architect for Fujitsu. "You'll know when your children come home. Cars on the highway will be autonomously managed."
Self-driving cars can make time-critical decisions. Video chats will make us feel like we're all in the same room. And cities can monitor traffic congestion, pollution levels and parking demand -- and then feed that information to your smart car in real time"

Telstra likely holding back dividends for the this major investment in the future. They are not going to advertise this. In 5-8 years or less you'll be laughing at "cable" internet, like old style cathode TVs which people can't give away. I provide no guarantee that Telstra will be at the forefront of this, I'll let you decide.
