    Hi sika, in my brief time following this I have thought that hot tuna had the most accurate take on the situation. Forestry is so much like all of the other agricultural industries in that if you run really mean and lean you will be profitable, to the tune of about 5% on your capital. There is no room for elaborate corporate structures and salaries that dont reflect the value returned to the company.
    There is also a buzz out there that KKR would be happy to drop Santanol rather than swoop on cheap QIN assets as in their brief exposure to this industry they are not impressed. If QIN hadn't fallen apart there may have been a fancy IPO of Santanol. One to steer clear of maybe like a Dick Smith
