Penn, should have known 6 months ago that this was going to happen.
He should have cut the 6 monthly dividend from 15.5 cents/6 months to 13.5 cents/6 months and ride this predictable hick up out over a longer period.
What I think he did wrong is to come out too late, without warning, with a bombshell.
It gives the very distinct impression that they were 6 months ago in lala land and panicked when it was pointed out by the institutional investors what had to be done.
