A great result for the financial year which well and truly exceeded the profit guidance given by the board. Both the home lending business and debt agreement business are doing extremely well. The car lending business still has the handbrake on which will come off at the end of the year. The Bill payment business is still being ironed out and is still to be officially launched.
Watch out when all four businesses are fully operational. Amazed to see profit guidance for FY2018 already given at an increase of between 5 and 15 per cent against FY2017 normalised profits! This board is very conservative. That’s a sign of confidence for you!
