You must make your own decisions and judgements. But I hope you aren't letting your buy price control your judgement of what the assets are worth. The market has quite emphatically said, "Vocus is worth roughly $2.50 per share, maybe less".

If you bought your shares for $4.15 it's very easy to think "$2.50 is too low, it will bounce".

But if you go back and read the posts at around the time you bought in you will see lots of posters saying "$4.00 is too low, it will bounce". Reputable brokers were publishing ridiculous valuations.

Anybody got the stomach for it? Have a look at these posts... might make you sick though...

It starts at $5.89 and huge excitement about the enormous up-side potential, and what a bargain the price is, and how "I scooped up a heap at this price". Page 2 starts at $5.29 and comments about "trend reversal" and "massively oversold". By page 5 we're at $4.54 and people are "loading up"... brokers are posting "accumulate" and "strong buy".

The lesson: People believe the future will do what is good for them, but it doesn't. Neither your hopes, nor your dreams, nor even your needs have any bearing on the matter. Hoping it turns around is not an investment strategy!

I hope you have an exit strategy that minimises your pain, and a clear plan as to when to use it.
