this is it...I think you are missing the point..you don't have to declare your option purchases..If you are building a sizable stake..(just say a chinese smelter for example) and you do not wish your competitors to know what you are doing..then buy options , your first disclosure will be when you convert them and a 3b notice is issued by the company
does that make any sense?
