IMO the market has a mental barrier for gold to close over 1300. Once it does this it will rally. If gold doesn't close above 1300 they worry that gold will drop below 1200 and reduce the likleyhood of PRU being in the green (Unlikely is my opinion given the situation of the golbal economy).
