I wish you guys would shut the hell up about all this potentially exciting stuff for a day or so longer.
The market may actually react positively and you'll give some of the pensioners around here heart attacks.

Its also taking an age for my cancelled IPO cheque to come back and I’d like some more in the 1.70s.
I think I may still get some.
Its been raining shares all week. I'm sure I can just hold out a small bucket tomorrow I should get a few more in there.
The market is a dribbling slack-jawed idiot at the moment.

Goldman Sachs definitely have a big corporate advice team that works with a lot of very big companies (ie BHP) - sort of like the A Team of what you need to do to defend your village from the evil raiders on horseback.

But I thought we sort of had that covered by Bacchus and Co?
    Perhaps This is Serious Mum?

One of the first things they might suggest is that the company should put out
an announcement saying GXY were moving into the iphone app industry.
That should really scare them off..

Could simply be wires crossed too.
One of their main specialisations is M&A.
So we may have the Attack Dogs helping out, not the Guard Dogs.
Even a Very Large Deal for SDV +JB may have required that some high level advice
was being sought to go through the contract terms.

I don’t believe recent GS recent trading floor stuff is that related to this.
That trading is whatever it is. Price positioning etc.
It may already be ancient history in terms of where things are at.
They are absolutely bullish on lithium.
Galaxy used their supply/demand graphs in the latest presentation.
Next record of GS trading activity could be considerably different.

Defense/Attack/M&A advice is a different arm of their company - one of their corporate service teams and it may have happened very quickly to call them in.
No doubt the next round of broker reports may well reflect
how much GS see Galaxy benefitting from whatever is going on.

When I mentioned potential take overs to Anthony Tse last year,
it was around the time the war drums were banging out Albemarle, Albemarle, Albemarle.
He suggested that GXY would be the ones that were doing acquisitions.
    Not getting taken over.

Things have changed substantially since then, though.
The company is making serious money (still invisible until the next quarterly)
and has a valuable part in the patchy global supply response to demand
that is seeing lithium price still continuing to climb week after week.

    But
oddly enough GXY is now, having proven a path to its $100m free cash flow,
is now selling at barely a few cents higher than it was
when we were in the depths of Trump despair and not knowing if the first shipment would ever get away.
    cheap cheap cheap.
Should be even cheeper says that guy who hates us on Twitter.
That dude probably won't even invite me to his 21st birthday party to stand around with the bored Chinese guys he pays to do the fake smiles in his selfies in various boring lobbies.
oh well.. looks like a crap way to spend your life anyway.

    So yeah.

    if I had $700m + spare change
    I’d buy Galaxy too.

    Who wants to help?
I’ll start a Go Fund Me GXY page.
You trust me round here, right? I'm a rusted on perma-bull on GXY's future prospects
faithfully buying the dips with Deano
and banging out my personal take on the Incredibly Complicated Lithium World on my old typewriter, without even a single Chinese person around to take a photo with.

Just send your donations to me and I’ll buy it for all of us
and then share it round all fair and square like birthday cake.
Even Crashman can have a slice
(but careful Crash says, it might drop off the plate
    ...aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh....splat. No cake for you.)

    I only need about $700m.
Thats about 7 small apartments in Sydney isn't it?
For my contribution I’ll sell my house, cars, drum kit and my daughter to a lonely Saudi oil sheikh.

Just so you know what you’ll be getting when you buy it with me -
Within a few years it will be making that $700m AUD in profit each year.
    Even in a bad year.
3 lithium operations = lazy $1.5b AUD annual revenue.

If we don’t manage to get quite enough in the Go Fund Me GXY campaign
    then word is that
BHP have now been mentioned as having woken up to lithium production and interested.
Mitsubishi has taken the last shipment and are wanting to take the relationship to the next level.
Tesla has their scouts in Argentina.
FMC has contracts they can’t fill.
VW has their dudes back in Germany fresh with Kalgoorlie/Ravensthorpe sun tans.
I can already hear SuperNinja typing it up right now - that this is complete irrefutable proof that Galaxy is actually selling its lithium biz and going into iphone apps.

Why not do it now while the market is still dazed & confused with all the ups & downs.
(boring but big) Hard Rock in Australia has already got all partnered up.
(voodoo) Hard Rock in DRC is busy having an orgy on a different planet.
(micro-brewery) Miniature-sized ARG Brine is waving its hands around and pretending that the bill will never arrive.

Galaxy is the biggest lithium pure-play and last independent producer that is lazily ambling its way
towards the position of 5th largest
and still only a tick above the shares being actually given away for free by the ASX,
and now with barely any retail left on board to cause any problems.

Whoever has that large holding in the nominee accounts
may be ready to step out and say "hi - suckers, we've always had the numbers".

    What to do?

Theres probably only a few hundred people left in retail
    with more than 100k shares
    if that
and our votes would mean SFA (that's - Sweet Fundamental Analysis)
    even if we all agreed.
And round here we even have people that believe in a Flat Earth..
so logically they don't believe in a very big Galaxy at all
with that little sun only being a few km away in the sky
and the rest is a hologram painted on a dome...
So chances are we won't agree
and some people may buy it up a bit and say "yep"
and then lose all their eventual winnings on a DRC driller that gets bazookaed accidentally in some crossfire with some angry rebel forces.

Slow ironic clap from me for the corporates who worked their manipulative magic on GXY.
    We’ve been played and out-positioned
and whatever happens next will happen.

I hope Goldman Sachs gives them some good advice.
The party was only just getting started.
