And more interestingly - CAIRNS half yearly transcript hinted at them wanting to pick up an increased working interest in the Senegal Blocks if the opportunity arose. Now if FAR win the right to PE - I would imagine that would also enable CAIRN to have the right to PE ? (though not necessarily). My point is - could it be to their advantage to keep the numbers low? - alternatively, if FAR do win and 'on-sell' - maybe they will put in a bid?
I am grasping at straws here - but they must think they have the possibility of increasing their holding in the future - or why make that comment? - maybe a lowball offer for our WI ?
