I have a bunch of EMH and am a long term holder. I have added more at 71 in the last few days. Does that mean I'm happy with KC? NO! Should he be replaced? YES. Nothing personal, but he is ill suited to the role now required. He has neither the engineering background nor the marketing ability. At least one of these skills is required at this point of the company's progress. It often happens that a CEO suited to an early stage of growth is himself outgrown by his company. Just look at any of his interviews: tired, worn, lacking genuine energy and go forward. He's no doubt been overworked and it is up to the board to recognise the predicament. A board has no more important function than the selection and review of the CEO. All you need to do is look at the picture of him at the top of your HC feed to see what I'm talking about.

So don't give us this stuff about "if you don't like the CEO then you must think the business is crap and so you should sell". The business has great prospects and will succeed, but will do so faster and more effectually with an appropriately skilled and energised CEO. Having been in this position, I think it likely that one person who would in time thank the board for acting would be KC himself.
