An interesting read but I guarantee that house building is not booming in the US. Check out the home builders stocks performances the last year. If U.S. house prices are firming then it is probably what that piece says (firmed slightly for a month at best and yes 1 month does not make a trend), they have gone nowhere the last year, at least down in real terms and probably also in nominal terms as far as I am aware of. I am not making any prediction here just saying what I think the current situation is.
