MIN do have a very large piece of EGO and yes they would like to pick it up for bugger all, but I don't think they will get it all entirely their way, why? because it's just not that easy and MIN know that and that is why they have not made an offer for a T/O.
You see every top 20 holder are sitting on huge loss's, P. Garrat alone would be down around a couple of million under the current share value but any of them could go on a buying spree and increase the share value back over .50 cents. I guess it's pointless at this time only because the offer has not been made by anyone.
