Just a thought:
America is largest consumer of Chinese products.
If american consumers stop purchasing products that are made in China, china reduces exports, china reduces production, China's growth reduces, commodities are less in demand.
Something to ponder regarding the affect that a US "meltdown" will have on Australia.
