I'm really bullish on the whole scenario. I think "buildings" that don't have giant fancy operation centers will absolutely need this.

I think in general in a few years, the idea of a "dumb building' without analytics to understand/metric/report on the energy consumption, will be out of place. I think all buildings will want & need the energy insights that Ohm provides.

Just like for many people you here "OMG I didnt get my steps today" .. not because they didn't walk but because they left thier FitBit at home. We are building muscle memory around analytics of big systems, we are being conditioned to "expect it" from the systems we use every day.

Ohm provides a really simple "enterprise" ready product for those buildings to "plug in". Those buildings will get the product either directly through Buddy or through the many re-sellers Buddy seems to be partnering with.

Analytics, Big data, global ingestion pipeline, and machine learning is what all the cool kids are doing.. and that's purely where Buddy is.
