A question that crosses my mind after reading that article is whether cash is safe. The gold bugs have been saying for years that come the credit crunch (they were right about that so far) only real gold in your physical possession will be worthwhile currency. Gold will become the new monetary standard again, and governments will seize all gold in private hands if they can. That did happen back in time in usa they say. Course they are ramping gold, so who believes them. Nahhhh, it won't get that bad eh.. bloody hope not!
