What would happen if the market just stopped? I mean, what would happen if no one sold a single share in a single company? If all holders of stock simply did not move an inch on Monday and held, what would happen?
I know the above is fantacy land stuff but nonetheless, think about it. Would it not be in everyones interests for this to happen?
Oh well, back to reality.
The market will be more than 100 points down by 10.30am est with blue chippers BHP, Woodside and Rio DOWN big time {around 4 - 5 percent} and will reach 150 points {12 noon} before an afternoon rally that will see the All ord finish DOWN 90 points.
Wall St will start the day well down and continue down before a medium size rally then down then up well below close of Friday. Will finish DOWN 120 points from Friday.
The future.
Near term. All ords DOWN to 5000 and Dow Down to 12500.
Mid term. Slow recovery on both.
Long term UP. Dow to finish the year above 15000 and All Ord above 6800.
