I was just at a payments innovation conference in Sydney and there was quite a lot of conversation about fridges ordering eggs when the user is low and how AI will help determine if the users requires these based on what there calendar says and trips away. You can press a button on your washing machine which will order you detergent when you are running out.
How does this relate to Buddy? I don’t know but, if we are being the fitbit for buildings, do you foresee Buddy having the capability to tell when lightbulbs are wearing out so a replacement can be done before the bulb goes out. BUD to detect issues with an air conditioner before it actually breaks down and identifies the building management. I know we’re currently looking at efficiencies but will there be away to determine how the actual machine is running so replacements and repairs can be made before it breaks down?
Conversation filler ahead of the ANN we’re all waiting for.
